Just like they always say, “All Good Things Must Come to an End!”

Bridgetower, Meridian’s premier community has sold the last Tahoe Home in July of this year! It’s no wonder that with all that Tahoe Homes has to offer, along with the large home sites in Bridgetower, all the homes sold in just over 1 year! Not to be outshined, another Tahoe Homes community, Reserve, is now down to only one home remaining, and all of this in under 9 months!

The homeowner response in these two North Meridian communities has been overwhelming and Tahoe Homes is planning on continuing this tradition of unbeatable homes in premier communities in the spring of 2014 with the introduction of our newest community, Ashbury.

Located on the Northwest corner of Chinden and Meridian roads, Ashbury will be ideal, centrally located in the heart of North Meridian, close to Schools, Dining, Parks, Dental & Chiropractic care. The convenience of Target and even a Brand New Fred Meyer Grocery Store. Ashbury will have home sites ranging from approximately ¼ acre all the way up to just about a full acre! With most of the home sites backing up to a common area landscape strip, Ashbury truly has something for everyone.

Be one of the first to see all that Ashbury has to offer:

There’s more to see and do at SpurWing Greens, a Top 10 Neighborhood for 2012 (Ada County)

There’s more to see and do at SpurWing Greens, a Top 10 Neighborhood for 2012 (Ada County)

This week I met with a couple who has lived in the Boise area for over 30 years. Being empty-nesters and extraordinarily pleasant, we had a great conversation! They are retired from two successful careers, have beautiful [adult] children, and now have time to travel or enjoy all that our Boise area has to offer. They are ready to explore the options to build a new home with Tahoe at SpurWing Greens, and I couldn’t help but think,”what a perfect fit for their lifestyle!”

SpurWing Greens is one of Ada County’s top 10 neighborhoods for 2012 (www.buildidaho.com), and is considered one of the area’s most esteemed neighborhoods, known for not only its superior architecture but also its close proximity to SpurWing’s country club. A unique benefit with all home purchases in SpurWing Greens, is an automatic Lifestyle Membership to The Club at SpurWing. Enjoy access to the clubhouse and restaurant – with indoor and outdoor dining available, as well as special arrangements for private gatherings or parties. I especially like the newly remodeled fitness center, which offers a complete circuit for dedicated athletes and weekend warriors alike. The recreational list continues with a resort-sized pool, three-court tennis complex, miles of paths and trails, and acres of open space, all designed to create an idyllic setting in north Meridian. With the Ten Mile interchange less than five miles away, quick access and convenience to downtown Boise is within an easy commute.

SpurWing Greens touches on all the components of a great Idaho lifestyle – and Tahoe Homes builds a fantastic home! As one of the primary builders in SpurWing Greens, we offer a variety of single level and two-story plans available to choose from. Our interior finishes range from sleek and contemporary to relaxed traditional, with a team of designers and stylists ready to assist in building the home of your dreams. I invite you to learn more today! Please call me for a private tour or additional information on this up and coming favorite community in Meridian!

Common theme throughout our growing Tahoe family: We love our home!

We are grateful for our extraordinary Tahoe family, a dynamic group of homeowners who recently shared some of their thoughts about Tahoe Homes. It’s very rewarding to hear positive comments and feedback about your team and systems, and overwhelmingly humbling at the same time. We love what we do – and it evidently shows in how we approach every aspect to building a home. It’s one thing to say how good you are, and quite another when the endorsement comes from outside your company. We invite you to take a look at our Testimonials and read about others’ experiences in working with us. Tahoe Homes is building in the best locations the Boise Valley has to offer – and we’d appreciate the opportunity to give you a personal tour through any of our communities. For more information, always feel free to contact our on-site agents, or reach us through our Contact us page on this website. We’d love the opportunity to build a home for you, too!

Another successful Fall Parade of Homes for Tahoe Homes

Tahoe Homes has a long tradition as being a participant in the BCA’s Fall Parade of Homes. This year, we were featured on the cover of the parade magazine, showcasing Mill Station in east Boise. We also had a SpurWing Greens full page ad facing the Parade Home Entries (a table of contents, of sorts). We had two parade homes at opposite ends of the valley, in an effort to reach or accommodate as many people as possible. Both homes were very similar in styling with sleek lines and contemporary interior finishes, though located in extraordinarily different neighborhoods. Our east Boise model, The Tilt, was located in Mill Station, east Boise’s new, trendy, cosmopolitan neighborhood in Barber Valley. And in west Meridian, we entered our Pebble Beach model in SpurWing Greens, the area’s premier country club community. Both homes on all six days of the Fall Parade event had over 100 guests, which rivals attendance numbers that we typically see during the Spring Parade of Homes (the BCA’s more popular event). In addition, both parade homes sold prior to the Parade opening day, which we attribute to the steady momentum of the local economy and the quality and craftsmanship that goes into every Tahoe home.

Looking forward to the 2013 Spring Parade of Homes!

We’re thankful to build in Idaho – the 2nd state with the highest increase in home prices

There’s more evidence that the housing market is recovering, both on a national and state level. From July 2011 to July 2012, CoreLogic reports that U.S. home prices increased 3.8% nationally, which is the largest year-over-year rise in the past six years. Better yet, Idaho reports a full 10% gain during that same time. Arizona tops the national list with Idaho placing second, followed by Utah, South Dakota and Colorado rounding out the top five rankings. Our local MLS chapter, Intermountain Multiple Listing Service, anticipates that Idaho will stay at or near the 10% mark through the remainder of the year.

On a day-to-day level, we are seeing more contracts coming in and just an overall rise in our production. We’ve balanced the last four years better than some, but it’s great to be busy again! Our reputation of delivering quality homes at fair prices has undoubtedly contributed to our place in the market. We’re thankful for the incredible lifestyle Idaho offers. Our local economy offers many opportunities for business, and the recreational activities are almost endless. We are especially thankful for our Tahoe family of clients, friends and real estate professionals who continue to help us succeed.

Fred Meyer at Eagle Island Marketplace is now open!

The long-awaited Fred Meyer at Chinden Blvd. and Linder Rd., opened for business on Friday, June 22 – with cheers all around! As the anchor for the new Eagle Island Marketplace, the store brings not only closer shopping for the residents of Eagle, Star and Meridian, but also “200 jobs,” according to the Idaho Business Review. The “environmentally sustainable” superstore boasts 175,000 square feet and over 225,000 products. Baskin Robbins 31 Flavors just opened their doors today, with a fun variety of summer flavors and smiles everywhere. Other businesses set to join Fred Meyer in the Eagle Island Marketplace include McDonald’s, Tip Top Nail Salon, and Great Clips. The new marketplace is positioned to make grocery, household and convenience shopping simple for nearby residents, especially those of Paramount, SpurWing, and SpurWing Greens.

About Fred Meyer: Ninety years ago, a man named Fred G. Meyer opened the first Fred Meyer store with the idea of “one-stop shopping” Since then, the Fred Meyer brand has expanded into a Northwestern United States chain. The addition of this one-stop shopping center, which has an Eagle address, confirms the exciting growth occurring along this busy corridor edging both Eagle and Meridian.
